Why Halloween candy is a nightmare

Let's look at some classics per .7 oz serving:

1 pack of M&Ms 95 calories 4g fat 3g saturated 13g sugar
1 York 70 calories 1g fat 1g saturated 13g sugar
That adds up to 695 calories 31g fat 20g saturated (a day's worth!) and 86g sugar
So what do I give?
Snyder's of Handover mini pretzels 60 calories 12g carbs 120mg sodium
Unreal Dark Chocolate peanut butter cups 80 calories 6g fat 2.5g saturated 5g sugar
Graham cracker pouches
Fruit (risky)
